Paris Motor Show, scheduled to take place later this month, is going to be a big bonanza, not only for auto enthusiasts but for the automobile industry too. Citron will join many other prominent automakers that will feature their vehicles at the show. Another member of the Citroen family, apart from 2013 Citroën C3 Picasso, on its booth at Paris Motor Show will be electric DS3 concept. Christened as Citroën DS3 Electrum, which is a full electric supermini offering a performance at par with current DS3 models.
Citroën DS3 Electrum is a green car getting power from two electric motors placed on the front axle. Electric motors generate a total of 65kw power and give the DS3 Electrum a total range of 75miles. Electric motors are juiced up by 17.5 kWh lithium-ion battery pack and you can find the charging socket placed under the fuel cap. Battery pack can be charged up to 80% in just 30 minutes when connected with a fast charging docking station.
