BMW’s arm at North America has just announced the limited edition 2013 M3 Coupe Lime Rock Park Edition. The new model has been built in collaboration with Skip Barber, as a tribute to well known historic Lime Rock Park racing circuit.
Under the hood will be the same 4.0-liter V8 of M3 that’s good enough for 414 ponies and 295 pound-feet of torque. Engine is mated to BMW’s six-speed manual transmission that conduit power to the road. On the top of this, this special limited edition M3 has best of BMW’s engineering, making this coupe more aggressive than ever before. There are, however, slight modifications made to the coupe.
The car is painted in fire orange and features front chin splitters, rear deck spoiler and roof panel made of carbon fiber, together with lightweight inconel-titanium exhaust muffler. 2013 BMW M3 Coupe Lime Rock Park Edition comes with Competition Package as standard, which includes 19″ Style 359M silver wheels and features suspension that is more aggressive. Moving inside, you will find manually adjustable Anthracite and black cloth seats finished in Napa leather and Anthracite Alcantara also covers the steering wheel.
M3 Coupe Lime Rock Park Edition will be made in a limited run of 200 units with its pricing starting from $70,995, which also includes $895 for destination and Handling. The deliveries of the car to are expected to begin by September this year.
