Conceived by Taiwanese product designer Jurmol Yao, the Hatchet is a concept helicopter which would accelerate rescue operations in such damage-hit areas. The concept UAV, as visualized by the designer, would flaunt a six-rotor design for superior maneuverability and stability. So, be it a mid- or a low-altitude location, the Hatchet will ensure to reduce casualties during a calamity.
The automatic chopper would transport victims to safer areas in a jiffy. Thanks to onboard equipment, such as Infrared Scanning Imager, Instant Photography Messaging system and a Ground Control System, Hatchet promises to be a low-risk and restrictions-free unmanned aerial vehicle. Further, it would feature easy to change modules so that it could undertake diverse rescue assignments with extreme ease.
