You are sitting in a plane that’s just to touch the runway and suddenly you hear your pilot telling you about the landing gear failure. You are awe struck, and so is everyone on the airport. All you just expect at that moment of time is a fatal crash. However, suddenly a brave man comes with a Nissan Frontier pickup truck and places it right under the front landing gear to ensure the safe landing.
While that may sound like a scene from the movie, but such things do happen in real life too. However, some quick thinking and lots of guts make a lot of difference at times and that’s what exactly happened here. The guy who is nothing less than a real hero is an airport mechanic who heard it on radio that a plane is coming down with malfunctioned front gear that has turned right instead of straight. The possibility for the jet to go circling was thwarted by placing a Nissan Frontier pickup truck right beneath it.
