With the intent to provide an alternative method of driving, Argentina based designer, Martin Esteva, comes up with a sporty electric tricycle concept, dubbed Irukan. Industrial design student at the Faculty of Architecture, Design and Urbanism of the University of Buenos Aires, Martin imagines Irukan as an electric vehicle for recreational purpose and it is fit to be driven on slopes and mountain trails, conquering even intertwined curves at high speeds.

Unlike traditional tricycles that you might have seen so far, Irukan electric tricycle have no handle bars to control the direction but you need to lean your body mass in the direction you want to steer it. The driving mechanism is integral with the rotating moments of the chassis around a horizontal pivot axis with respect to the longitudinal running direction. This allows negating any additional mechanism like handlebars, levers or other devices that relate to the front chassis and what comes out is a neat and clean design.
