Jaguar Speedboat Concept presents brand’s DNA in a new package

British automaker, Jaguar, has got a lot of attention with its beautifully designed Speedboat concept despite the fact that focus of all the auto enthusiasts is currently turned to the SEMA aftermarket show in Las Vegas. Following the Merecedes-Benz footsteps, Jaguar has revealed today their Speedboat concept to mark the launch of the XF Sportbrake. The Speedboat concept is designed to complement and accompany Jaguar XF Sportbrake, and as it’s clear from the images, they have done a great job.

Jaguar teams up with Ivan Erdevicki Naval Architecture & Yacht Design Inc. and folks at Seventy Seven Design to create Speedboat that measures 6.1 meters in length. With a seating capacity for three people, Jaguar Speedboat concept flaunts fiberglass hull, deck finished in natural teak, Jaguar D-Type inspired carbon fiber fin on the deck as well as red cabins and series Jaguar 1 XJ inspired fuel filler caps.  Jaguar Speedboat Concept complements XF Sportbrake every bit and presents brand’s DNA in a new package

The concept boat looks powerful and follows, in many ways, the idea of a traditional speedboat but with characteristics, like sleek design and speed thrills, that are so prominent in any Jaguar built car. The speedboat concept is true to the Jaguar lines; however, the only thing that all wealthy Jaguar fans might wry is the fact that British brand has no plans to build or commercialize a boat of any kind as of now.
