The concept
If you want super speed with extravagance luxury, then Lamborghini cars are for you. Lamborghini cars are famous all over the world for their uncompromisingly unique style and beauty and the design of the new Lamborghini Granador doesn’t defy those rules either. It is designed as a super sportscar, which combines both the brand values and their essential lines. The project of Lamborghini Granador is a collaborative creation of Mohammed Hossein Amini Yekta and Lamborghini. It was actually designed during his Masters Program’s first semester of academic year 2011-12 at Milan based Scuola Politecnica di Design (SPD).
The design, inspiration
The main feature of the design of the Granador is displayed in the division created between lower and the upper sections. This division is highlighted through a straight sloppy line underlining this stylishly pointy wedge-shaped silhouette. This same line can also be seen like a symmetry axis with the contours of the side windows being mirrored onto the air intake of the lower part. This distinctive feature clearly reflects some of the designs of the Bertone Stratos Zero Concept of 1970. The upper body has been designed as transparent see-through body, which is distinctly defined, by the clean surfaces, crystalline volumes and sharp edges. According to the designer, this concept was designed with an aim to bring together the various design elements along with the touch of both general sportiness and luxurious soul.
The feasibility
The overall design of Granador is more focused on keeping it elegant rather than sporty. However, with the unique design of hidden taillights installed behind the blades delivers the entire car an aggressive look with an uncompromising soul. Maintaining their reputation of producing cars of huge impact and elite designs, this Granador stands up to their design criteria and has been predicted to become as famous as other members of the luxurious Lamborghini family. The Lamborghini Granador, due to its unique design, might get Lamborghini’s attention. However, there are little, if not bleak, chances of it seeing the light of the day ever.
