Skateboards may offer a thrilling ride while moving downwards on the street, but they lack the power to keep up the same momentum on ascending tracks. Check out the 58-pound wheelboard dubbed “Motorized Wheelrider” that packs a two-stroke engine, generating 2HP, to move you at 20 mph on grades up to 15 degree. Placing the rider on two slip-resistant footboards, which appears little awkward, located within each rim of the hubless tires, the motorized wheelboard is sturdy enough to support a rider up to 200 pounds.
Steering the board with side-to-side movement of the front foot, the Rider can control the speed with a tethered handheld throttle and brake. Integrating the fuel tank with the capacity of 1/4-gallon, the Wheelrider offers a range of up to 20 miles. Running on two 14″ knobby tires, the motorized board is designed to move efficiently on sand, grass and dirt. Measuring 44 x 17 x 10″ (LWH) in dimensions, the Wheelrider is available in black color for $500.
