You might be remembering Tanom Motors showed the production version of Invader at 2011 SEMA Show. The trike is available as an open top TR-3 and TC-3 coupe version. However, for this year’s SEMA Auto show, Tanom Motors has joined hands with legendary rocker Sammy Hagar to create the even more menacing version of this pretty awesome road machine.
Christened as Red Rocker Edition, the SEMA bound Invader TC-3 will be offered in ‘Coupe’ version with distinct unique black-on-red paint finish. Flaunting carbon fiber trim for the outer body parts, suede trim for interior and headrests embellished Sammy’s signature, every model of the special edition Invader will get a serial number plaque signed by the Red Rocker.
All Invader models are powered by Suzuki Hayabusu GSX1300R borrowed four-cylinder engine capable of outputting a cool 194hp. The Red Rocker special edition that will be a limited run of 55 units will be showcased at SEMA next week. There is no word on the pricing of the special version of Invader. However, we know that standard Invader TC-3 costs a cool $49,999. So you can expect anything in excess of it.
