Well, this is CXL Trimaran concept from UltraLuxum and it’s unique in more ways than one: it is the biggest sailing Trimaran on waters and parks a McLaren MP4 inside. The 48-metre long and 60 meters high CXL Trimaran concept super yacht features retractable outer hulls designed in collaboration with McLaren Applied Technologies. When stretched fully, hulls are 23 meters in width and provide a greater stability on the move. However, the system allows the beam to collapse into a width of 11 meters in a matter of few minutes, enabling it to access the greater range of harbors and marinas.
Featuring a dedicated garage for a McLaren MP4-12C owner, which is visible through a wall of glass from owner’s cabin, UltraLuxum CXL is a three-deck yacht and flaunts contemporary interiors designed by Coste Design & Partners and UltraLuxum’s Jessica Sbaraglia. The super yacht that weighs 150 ton and is 60 meters high has a master cabin, four guest cabins, three-crew cabins, a pool, dining area and a spa.
The CXL super yacht will come equipped with latest automated controls, high-speed internet and high-end entertainment systems like flat screen TV, audio and video on demand. The concept is created by UltraLuxum’s founding partner Jean-François Ruchonnet and its design matches perfectly with the cutting edge design of yachts. The CXL Trimaran will be manufactured at Tamsen Maritim and its marketing will be done by Bluewater Yachting.
