Volkswagen’s California camper van has long been on the roads. However, at this year’s Caravan Salon in city of Düsseldorf, Germany, the camper van will appear in a new avatar. Featuring Multivan Edition 25 inspired retractable canvas top; the cosmetic changes in the new camper van will be marked with matte black trim pieces and some black detailing that include stripes on doors, front bumpers, grill and door handles.
Inside the new California camper van, the occupants will find ample space and amenities that will make them feel like at home. The furniture for stove, sink and space is finished in white and a sleeping pad is an addition in the latest model.
New Volkswagen California camper van will be up in Comfortline and Beach editions, along with two petrol and three diesel units to choose from. The petrol engines will come in 148bhp and 201hp options, whereas three diesel units will consist of 101hp, 138hp and 177hp. The new edition is expected to go on sale in Europe this fall and pricing for the new California camper beach edition will start from €42,369.95 in Germany, while the California Comfortline unit will cost €56,287.
