We heard of Weber Sports car back in 2008. The two-seater mid-engine sports car has undergone lots of design changing since then. The latest one features the immaculate design cues and a sprint from 0-62mph in 2.5 seconds that equals Bugatti Veyron SS. Under the hood is a LS7 based twin-turbocharged V8 engine that develops a whopping 1200hp and a peak torque of 1,250 Nm. Engine is aligned with a semi automatic six-speed semi automatic gearbox operated via steering wheel mounted shift paddles that offers an extremely short shifting time of 40 milliseconds between gears.
The gearbox transfers power to all the wheels and enables it to get a sprint from 0-100 km/h in 2.5 seconds, 0-200 km/h in 6.6 seconds; 300 km/h mark is achieved in 16.2 seconds, with its top speed well in excess of 400 km/h. The spectacular performance owe to carbon fiber make, lightweight design. Featuring high tensile Weber Sportcars aluminum-made tubular frame welded from high end aluminum which is usually used in airplanes, the Webber Sports cars measures 4500 X 2040 X 1150 in length, width and height.
Other noticeable features include Weber four-wheel drive system, F1 derived active traction control system, Active Aero Control, adaptive hydraulic wing, stainless steel high performance exhaust system and Weber light alloy wheels 10Jx20 with 285/25 ZR 20 Pirelli high performance tires upfront and 13Jx20 with 325/25 ZR 20 at the rear end. Dual-circuit brake system with ABS and Weber high performance brake system brings it to a halt.
