4 Tips for a Clean Car All Year Round

You just got done reading about BEE International homogenizers and remembered you told yourself you were going to clean your car today. You’ve been putting it off for too long, and now it’s an absolute mess. There are ways to keep your car from building up trash, and we’re here to offer a few tips!

Here are 4 tips for a clean car all year round!

1.   Keep a Bag in Your Car for Trash

One of the easiest ways to make sure your car stays clean is to keep a bag in it that’s specifically for trash. It’s all too easy to throw our Starbucks cup in the backseat without thinking twice about it. Over time, this trash builds up until your entire backseat is littered with coffee cups, napkins, and takeout bags.

Keeping a bag in your car is a surefire way to keep car clutter to a minimum. As long as you keep up with emptying the car trash bag, you’ll be free from having junk pile up in your vehicle.

2.   Regular Trips to the Carwash

How often do you go to the carwash? Most people only go a few times a year, when their car gets dirty from a storm, a long trip, or snowy weather. However, most cars really should be cleaned at least once or twice a month.

The great thing about car washes is that they are quite affordable. Consider keeping a jar for quarters and dollars that’s sole purpose is for your trips to the carwash. You could even set aside certain days that you make washing your car a priority. This will keep you in check, so you don’t forget your regular cleaning.

3.   Consider a Handheld Vacuum

Handheld vacuums, like a dustbuster, can be your car’s best friend when you make keeping your car clean a priority. While you should visit a car wash at least once a month, a small handheld vacuum is great for those in between times. You could even keep the vacuum in your vehicle so you’re more likely to use it.

Vacuums are great for picking up dirt and dog hair that builds up in your car. Spending just a few minutes each week can help keep your car from accumulating dirt, dust, and hair. This will also make it easier when it comes time to take your car to the carwash!

4.   Ask Others to Pick Up After Themselves

While you may make keeping your car clean a priority, this doesn’t mean that others will feel the same way. This is why it’s important that you ask passengers to clean up after themselves. You’d be surprised at how many people don’t bat an eyelash tossing their trash in someone else’s car.

Ask others to pick up after themselves when they tag along for a ride with you. They’re sure to respect your wishes. If they don’t, perhaps keep this in mind the next time they ask you for a ride. It’s important that you set boundaries with your passengers to help keep your car clean all year round.
