For the delight of its fans, Mercedes-Benz has released the details of its high performance A45 AMG Model following the reveal of its photos yesterday. With images and details comes the confirmation from Mercedes-Benz that A45 AMG will debut at the upcoming Geneva Motor Show. The new performance model is based on the same front wheel drive platform as itโ€™s A-Class sibling.

Under the hood is the worldโ€™s most powerful 2.0-liter, four-cylinder turbocharged engine that develops a cool 360hp and a peak torque of 332 lb-ft of torque. Engine is mated to a seven-speed dual clutch transmission that conduit the power to all the wheels. It takes just 4.6 seconds for the Mercedes-Benz A45 AMG to sprint from a standstill to 62 mph before reaching a top speed of.

It returns a fuel economy of 34 mpg on the European test cycle that owes much to its lightweight material and start-stop function. The A45 AMG also leads its segment if we talk about the fuel consumption and consumes 6.9 liters per 100 kilometers it travels in NEDC combined mode, with its CO2 emission at 161-165 g/km. Mercedes-Benz A45 AMG will debut at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show and its sales release date will be 8 April 2013. The market launch in Germany will commence in June this year and it, woefully, wonโ€™t reach the US market. Not price details are made available as of now.
