Odyssey Battery, Bigfoot claim to build world’s first electric monster truck

Odyssey Battery, Bigfoot electric monster truck 6

While the conversion of a sleek Fiat Panda 4X4 into a monster truck was a finicky move, here is another such vehicle that takes the same spirit to next level. The monster truck betrays the common site at a monster truck show which is filled with the sounds of big engines belching huge smoke through their exhaust pipes while at the same time proves that crashing a car doesn’t require burning even a single drop of fuel.

Odyssey Battery and Bigfoot joins forces to create what they claim to be world’s first electric monster truck. In order to create it, the duo has fitted the monster truck with 36 drycell batteries (refined version of standard car batteries) that provide vital juice to an electric motor capable of producing a cool 350 hp and 850 lb-ft of car-crushing torque to crush the cars silently. It is even less noisy than the sound of crashing cars. Check out the video to see this monster truck at work.
