Peugeot’s stand at 2012 Paris Motor Show will have hoards of vehicles and it includes the facelifted RCZ and a hotter yet sleek Peugeot RCZ R concept. The Peugeot RCZ R coupe previews the production model expected to go on sale by the end of 2013. What comes out to be the most powerful production model in the Peugeot’s history, RCZ R coupe is to be powered by 1.6-liter twin-scroll turbo engine, co-developed by PSA Peugeot-Citroen and BMW Group, is good for 260hp and power will be delivered to the front wheels via a six-speed manual transmission. In addition to most powerful and potent Peugeot model, the RCZ R is comparatively green as it emits 155kg of CO2 per kilometer.
In order to distinguish the hotter version from the standard RCZ, the RCZ R coupe will come with considerable differences in the exterior and interior. Some of the other changes made to the RCZ R coupe include modified chassis, Torsen limited slip differential on front axle and the prototype will have two-tone black and copper paint finish that you will also find in Peugeot Onyx sports car concept bound for 2012 Paris Motor Show. Additionally, Peugeot RCZ R concept will feature updated front and rear fenders, wider body and alloy wheels wrapped in wider tires. No other details of the vehicle has been made available by French automaker so far and they are expected to go public with its unveiling at the Paris Motor Show.
