Radiant Anglerfish Bikes bring aquatic feel to fast lanes

The annual VIVID Sydney light event was the hotspot for many creations out of which some were awkward, some had great illuminating features while others entirely different. One of the many amazing creations of the carnival is the multiple illuminated Angler Fish structures from the D collective group, an Australian multidisciplinary studio. The illuminating structures that are wonderful presentation of the aquatic spectacle to bring aquatic feel to urban scene are, in fact, bikes in disguise and well accustomed with the life on fast lanes.

The structures consist of three sea creatures that are adorned with custom frames and three fish’s skin, fins and tails are tightly covered with digitally printed Lycra and chiffon. On the top of this, the structures on the bike not only brought the marine glow to the audience but the fish glowing in purple, blue and green tones jell well with vibrant carnival. What’s interesting is the fact that structures have bicycles underneath that can be paddled around the city.
